Growing Leaders Through Challenge

A 5-Day Land-Based Leadership Development Program.

Back
The Premise

Why Land-Based Leadership?

The most effective leaders we know didn't learn their best skills in a classroom.

They learned them under pressure. In real conditions. When the stakes were real and there was no option to disengage.

Sweet Grass Co. creates that environment deliberately.

Five days on a working Alberta farm. Real tasks. Real team dynamics. Real weather. Real animals.

The land doesn't grade on a curve. It shows you exactly who you are as a leader — and exactly what your team is capable of.

Prairie Paths for Your Team

Give your participants the on-ramp before the farm. A 4-book digital reflective trail series they walk in the weeks leading up to the cohort. 15 markers · 15 minutes · 15 days.

  • Compass Rose — direction, self-awareness, foundations.
  • River's Edge — current, flow, change.
  • The Badlands — resilience, what remains.
  • The Gap — threshold, what you do when it counts.

All cohort participants get access to Prairie Paths as part of the program.
